Koenraad Cuypers of the Norwegian University of Science and Technology Cuypers researched the activities, life satisfaction, perceived health, anxiety and depression of 50,797 adults living in Norway’s Nord-Trondelag County.Controlling for variables like income and education, the researchers discovered that cultural participation leads to positive physical and mental well-being.
Although the article focuses on men, I would argue that the same benefit applies to women!
